Former Manchester United pair Ben Foster and Tom Cleverley pick their greatest Old Trafford team-mate... and it was neither Cristiano Ronaldo nor Wayne Rooney

Former Manchester United pair Ben Foster and Tom Cleverley have stated they think neither Cristiano Ronaldo nor Wayne Rooney was the best player at the club during their time at Old Trafford.

Instead the current Watford stars agreed that Paul Scholes was the United master.

Foster was largely United's back up goalkeeper for five years before leaving in 2010, while Cleverley came up through the club's ranks before spending a decade of his senior years at Old Trafford prior to the midfielder's 2015 departure.
