Former Manchester United and Tottenham striker Dimitar Berbatov insists he is not ready for retirement

Former Tottenham and Manchester United striker Dimitar Berbatov insists he is not yet ready to call time on his career as he continues his search for another club.

Berbatov, 36, has been without a club since leaving Greek side PAOK at the end of last season.

The former Bulgaria international, who scored 94 Premier League goals during spells with United, Spurs and Fulham, insists he still has something to offer.

When asked by the BBC if his professional career was over, Berbatov replied: 'No hopefully not.
