Former Man United man appeals for help after being burgled during house move as thieves steal car full of valuables in overnight raid

Former Manchester United academy star Demetri Mitchell has revealed he was the victim of a burglary in Essex, with thieves stealing his car and a number of personal items during a house move.

The 28-year-old, who joined Leyton Orient this summer, was relocating from Manchester when the incident occurred overnight.

Mitchell says burglars broke into the property, stole his car keys, and then drove off with a vehicle loaded with valuable belongings.

The former England youth international took to social media to appeal for help in getting his car back.

He posted on X: 'Just been burgled last night in Essex came in robbed my car keys and had a lot of valuables in the car as I was moving my things from Manchester last night.
