Former Man United chief Ed Woodward lands new job in football - over two YEARS after he left Old Trafford

Ed Woodward has landed a new job in football over two years after leaving Manchester United.

The former United CEO was an unpopular figure during his decade-long spell working for the club.

Fans often criticised his decisions over player recruitment and accusing him of prioritising the club's commercial performance over its success on the pitch.

The club failed to win any league titles beyond 2013 during his tenure and indeed still haven't.

Woodward, 52, has picked up a variety of roles since finishing in Manchester but has finally found another job in football.
