FA apologise to Manchester United and Tottenham for tweet from official FA Cup account trolling striker Harry Kane's performance in semi-final

The FA have been forced to apologise for a tweet mocking Harry Kane's performance in Tottenham's FA Cup semi-final defeat by Manchester United.

Harry Kane had a day to forget, failing to register a single shot on target as Spurs failed to make next month's final against Chelsea.

After the final whistle had blown in United's 2-1 win, a one-second video of defender Chris Smalling saying Kane's name was posted by the FA Cup's official account below the text: 'What's that in your pocket, Chris?'
