Singer Majid Al Maskati and producer Jordan Ullman – whose new album Wildest Dreams is out now – met at university in Toronto and are signed to superstar Drake’s label, someone else who has professed his support for United in the past and who made a visit to the Carrington training ground a few years ago.
For Majid, it was a family connection that inspired him to follow United.
“I became a fan through my older cousin who I really looked up to,” he admitted. “He had family that lived near Manchester who introduced him to the team and he gave me my first United shirt when I was a kid.
