Ex-England and Manchester United star Wes Brown - who earned £50,000-a-week during his playing days - 'is declared bankrupt' at the High Court

Former England and Manchester United footballer Wes Brown has reportedly been declared bankrupt at the High Court.

HMRC filed a bankruptcy petition against Brown, who earned £50,000-a-week during his playing days at Old Trafford, on February 27, according to the Daily Mirror.

The petition was rubber-stamped at the High Court on April 12.
