Erik ten Hag 'is urged to stick by Marcus Rashford' despite his poor form under Ralf Rangnick as the new Man United boss 'seeks a new striker to partner Cristiano Ronaldo next season'

The staff at Manchester United have told in-coming manager, Erik ten Hag, that he must keep faith in out-of-form Marcus Rashford ahead of the 2022-2023 campaign.

Rashford has had a season to forget, having struggled to cement a regular place in Ralf Rangnick's first XI after returning from his shoulder surgery in October 2021.

Rashford has managed just four Premier League goals in 25 appearances this season - leaving Ten Hag questioning whether the 24-year-old is the right fit for his squad.

Marcus Rashford's future at Manchester United remains up in the air given his current form

Ten Hag will watch Manchester United's final game of the season against Crystal Palace on Sunday afternoon.
