Erik ten Hag believes Newport County 'had NOTHING' against Man United despite coming from two goals down in FA Cup tie before losing - as Micah Richards labels the Red Devils boss as 'touchy' after fourth-round scare

Erik ten Hag insisted Newport had 'really nothing' against Manchester United after his side secured a 4-2 fourth round FA Cup victory against the Welsh side.

The United boss appeared slightly irked during his post-match interview in the tunnel at Rodney Parade when asked for his analysis of the cup encounter against the League Two side.

Goals from Bruno Fernandes and academy graduate Kobbie Mainoo gave United an early lead in the knockout clash that eventually ended with six goals being scored.

Newport hit back courtesy of a sensational long-range Bryn Morris strike in the 36th minute before the hosts began to flag in the minutes preceding half time.
