England manager Ian Foster plans to name his squad for the under-20s World Cup on Wednesday with uncertainty over whether several key players will make it to the tournament.
Clubs have the final say on whether their players will be allowed to go to the prestigious competition in Argentina which starts on May 20.
Four players being considered by Foster may be needed for play-off finals dependent on semi-final results while others have been used by their clubs in the Premier League which also has runs beyond England's opening game with Tunisia on May 22.
