England striker Marcus Rashford is not ready to lead the Manchester United line and needs experienced support, says Emile Heskey

Marcus Rashford has a ‘very exciting future’ but is not yet ready to lead the line for Manchester United, former England striker Emile Heskey has claimed.

Rashford was handed a start at Hamden Park by Gareth Southgate on the back of an 11-goal season for Jose Mourinho's side, but the 19-year-old drew a blank in the Three Lions’ 2-2 draw with Scotland.

He was replaced in the second half by Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain having given the ball away more than any other England player, and managed only two shots.
