Former Manchester United wonderkid Angel Gomes has snubbed a Premier League return as he has reached a verbal agreement to join a new club, according to reports.
Last month, the England midfielder confirmed his departure from Lille this summer after four seasons with the Ligue 1 side.
The 24-year-old, who has been capped four times by the Three Lions, left United in 2020 after failing to break into their first team under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, making just five appearances.
But it seems like Gomes has no interest in trying his hand at Premier League football again any time soon, as it is understood that he turned away proposals from England, as well as Germany and Italy.
