Edinson Cavani unable to make his Manchester United debut at Newcastle as club confirm he is still in self-isolation after arrival from PSG... but striker WILL be able to play against his old side in the Champions League

Manchester United will be without new signing Edinson Cavani for their trip to Newcastle on Saturday, with the Uruguayan forced to quarantine following his arrival in the UK.

Cavani arrived from PSG at the end of the transfer window, and is still undergoing a period of self-isolation due to the coronavirus guidelines.

The striker, 33, will be available to make his debut against his old side PSG on Tuesday though, if deemed fit enough to play.
