Edinson Cavani has put pen to paper on a one-year extension with Manchester United, following talks with the club.
Manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer had been forthcoming in recent weeks regarding his desire to see the in-form veteran continue at Old Trafford, and now an agreement has been reached.
Cavani has signed until the summer of 2022 after turning down an enticing offer from Boca Juniors in order to spend one more season in elite European football.
It is expected that United will confirm the news imminently, ahead of their match with Leicester City on Tuesday evening.
