Donny van de Beek says he 'takes responsibility' for Young Boys' equaliser in the Champions League as Man United outcast admits 'maybe I should kick the ball away' instead of play pass to Aaron Wan-Bissaka

Donny van de Beek has taken responsibility for Young Boys' equaliser against Man United as the Dutchman admitted that his failed pass allowed the Swiss side to find the net at Old Trafford.

With United's place in the last-16 of the Champions League already sealed, boss Ralf Rangnick made wholesale changes from the side that defeated Crystal Palace in the Premier League.

Van de Beek, Eric Bailly and Juan Mata were all given starts by the German, with the trio keen to impress after being frozen out by old boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
