Donny posts thanks after successful surgery

Earlier on Friday, Erik ten Hag confirmed that the Netherlands international would miss the remainder of the 2022/23 campaign, as a result of the nasty looking injury he picked up during last week's 3-0 win over Bournemouth at Old Trafford.

Our no.34 had to be substituted during the first half of our clash with the Cherries, after colliding with Marcos Senesi on the wet Old Trafford surface.

"I think it is quite positive news," Ten Hag told club media at Carrington after Donny's procedure had been conducted. "Of course, the bad news is he is out for the rest of the season, but the good news is, in the long term, his knee will be okay and he will be ready again to play at the highest levels and will be ready for the start of pre-season.
