Diogo Dalot sent off after receiving two yellow cards for dissent in a matter of seconds as Man United fans hit out at referee for 'joke' decision during Liverpool draw

Man United fans were left fuming with the referee after Diogo Dalot was sent off for a bizarre incident in the closing stages of Sunday's 0-0 draw with Liverpool.

The right-back received two yellow cards in the space of 15 seconds after protesting the referee's call to award a throw-in to Liverpool.

Dalot had been competing for the ball with Mo Salah and replays showed that he was justified in his protests.

The defender was outraged after the call went the other way and was shown a yellow for his reaction.
