Diogo Costa casts doubt over a potential move to Manchester United after stressing 'he hopes to continue' at Porto after an impressive season and warns that 'there is nothing concrete' with the Red Devils

Porto goalkeeper Diogo Costa has cooled talk linking him with a summer move to Manchester United, stressing that he 'hopes to continue' in Portugal.

Erik ten Hag's side are rumoured to be leading the race for the 23-year-old's signature, however, Costa has calmed speculation over his future.

United want to bring in a new goalkeeper after David de Gea's struggles this season were highlighted by another disappointing showing in Saturday's FA Cup final defeat against Manchester City.

Costa could be viewed by the transfer gurus at Old Trafford as De Gea's long-term successor after an impressive season at Porto, but the shot-stopper isn't bothered by any ongoing speculation.
