Entrepreneur Elon Musk has been urged to buy Manchester United by their desperate fans.

Musk, 50, who is the owner of Tesla, has submitted a bid in the region of $41billion (£31.3bn) to buy popular social media network Twitter.

The Pretoria-born investor has a net worth of around $265bn (£202.8bn) and can easily buy the Red Devils given his fortunes.
