David Moyes faces more woe as Sunderland manager is suspended after admitting FA charge

Sunderland manager David Moyes will serve a one-match touchline ban after admitting using abusive and/or insulting words towards a match official.

The ex-Everton and Manchester United boss committed the offence during his team's EFL Cup game at Southampton on October 26, the Football Association has announced.

The incident happened in or around the 90th minute of the fixture, which Claude Puel's Saints side won 1-0 thanks to a terrific 66th-minute Sofiane Boufal strike.
