David Beckham has poured cold water on the idea he could become an ambassador for Mancherster United if the Glazer family sell to Qatar's Sheikh Jassim Bin Hamad Al Thani.
Beckham previously struck a deal to partner with Qatar for the FIFA World Cup last year as he took on a tournament ambassador role, despite plenty of criticism.
But despite Qatar now pushing to sign Manchester United, Beckham claims there has been 'no discussion' of him holding any role should their takeover bid end up successful.
'At the moment there's been no discussion,' the former England and Manchester United star told CNBC.
