Dalot would replicate celebration

Diogo Dalot says he is unlikely to be changing his 'pulse' celebration any time soon and will leave some of the new ones to his younger team-mates.

Manchester United's win over West Ham United at the beginning of February saw Alejandro Garnacho, Rasmus Hojlund and Kobbie Mainoo sit on the advertising hoardings for an iconic pose in front of the Stretford End, in the wake of Garnacho's first goal.

Hojlund had marked his strike in the game by playing an imaginary guitar, a reference to a present he was given at Christmas.

Dalot was the first Red to hit the net in 2024, curling home a beauty in the Emirates FA Cup third-round victory at Wigan Athletic, which led to him showing off his customary fingers-on-the-neck position.
