Cristiano Ronaldo WON'T play in Portugal's World Cup warm-up game against Nigeria because of a stomach bug... but he'll be in attendance in Lisbon on the same night part two of his explosive interview airs before flying out to Qatar

Cristiano Ronaldo will not play in Portugal's warm-up game against Nigeria on Wednesday as he is still struggling with a stomach bug.

The Manchester United forward missed training on Wednesday, and has not recovered in time to feature in the match in Lisbon, but he will be in the stands to support his team-mates.

This means he will be in the stadium when the second part of his explosive interview with Piers Morgan airs on Thursday night on TalkTV.

The Portugal squad are due to fly out to Qatar for the World Cup on Friday afternoon, ahead of their first match of the tournament against Ghana on November 24.
