Cristiano Ronaldo 'was NOT happy about Ralf Rangnick playing him on the wing during one Manchester United training session' even though the Portuguese forward 'excelled in that position on the day'

Cristiano Ronaldo was annoyed at Ralf Rangnick's decision to use him on the left wing during a Manchester United training session, according to reports.

The Portuguese forward has been a regular central option since returning to United at the start of this season, scoring 14 goals in 23 matches in that role in all competitions.

Ronaldo took his relationship with Rangnick public when he stormed off the pitch during United's win at Brentford when he was substituted with his side 2-0 up in the second-half.

And according to The Athletic, Ronaldo has also been aggrieved with the German interim boss in training, who took issue with him being placed on the wing at the end of one training session, instead of up front.
