Michael Carrick has been announced as the new Middlesborough manager as he has finally been named as the replacement for Chris Wilder.

The appointment comes after 16 years after he made his debut for Manchester United, where he would go on to become a club legend by winning nearly every trophy possible and making 464 appearances for the club.
