Cristiano Ronaldo appears to IGNORE Steve McClaren's pleas to acknowledge Man United's travelling fans at full-time after the 4-0 Brentford defeat as the wantaway star then snubs Erik ten Hag as he walks down the tunnel

An angry Cristiano Ronaldo stormed off the pitch and refused to clap Manchester United's away support as his first start in the Premier League under Erik ten Hag ended in a dismal 4-0 defeat at Brentford.

Ronaldo, visibly frustrated after seeing his team suffer an embarrassing loss, did not shake Ten Hag's hand and appeared to have a terse exchange with assistant coach Steve McLaren before leaving the field at the Brentford Community Stadium.

The wantaway Portuguese star, who started a game for the first time since telling the club he wanted to leave, threw his hands up in the air and walked straight past his manager without a passing glance.
