Christian Eriksen 'AGREES to join Manchester United' with Erik ten Hag set to sanction 'three-year deal' for the Denmark international, 30, having spent time watching him train with Ajax last January

Christian Eriksen has made a verbal agreement to join Manchester United, according to The Athletic.

The Danish free agent has reportedly informed the Red Devils of his desire to play at Old Trafford next season and is prepared to pen a three-year deal at the club.

It is believed the 30-year-old playmaker must first go through significant medical tests before the deal is finalised.

Eriksen scored one and assisted four in 11 games during the second-half of last season at Brentford, having suffered a cardiac arrest on the pitch at Euro 2020 last summer.
