Chelsea moves for attackers Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Anthony Gordon before Thursday's transfer deadline are 'unlikely' - with Armando Broja and Christian Pulisic expected to stay at Stamford Bridge

Chelsea's chances of signing forwards Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Anthony Gordon before the end of the summer transfer window have been rated as 'unlikely'.

The Blues have been heavily linked with Barcelona striker Aubameyang and Everton forward Gordon ahead of the Premier League transfer deadline on Thursday.

But according to the Athletic, Thomas Tuchel's side are 'having second thoughts' over a move for the Gabonese star, while their prospects of completing a move for 21-year-old Gordon are 'slim'.

Everton and Chelsea are said to be 'substantially' apart on their valuations of Anthony Gordon

Chelsea made a £15m bid to sign Aubameyang earlier this month, but with no agreement yet on a fee with the club or personal terms with the player, they could walk away from a deal.
