Charlotte Healy is to depart Manchester United Women and take over as head coach of Bristol City.

Healy first joined the club as Under-21s coach in 2019 and she has worked as assistant to Marc Skinner in recent years.

She has played a key role in the team’s recent successes, which include lifting the Adobe Women’s FA Cup at Wembley in 2024 and securing a top-three finish in the Women’s Super League last term.

Healy will now guide the Robins in WSL 2, succeeding Stephen Kirby who stepped down last month.

“After six memorable years at Manchester United, the time has come for me to move on,” wrote Charlotte.
