Caretaker Manchester United manager Michael Carrick was in attendance at the world premiere of 'Robbo: The Bryan Robson Story' on Thursday night.

Carrick told club media the impact the film had on him, explaining his huge admiration for Bryan Robson, the longest-serving captain in United history, who won several FA Cups and league titles in his 13-year career at Old Trafford.

Football legends aplenty watched the film, with other former Reds heroes including Wayne Rooney, Sir Alex Ferguson, Darren Fletcher and Steve Bruce. Other leading figures like Paul Gascoigne and Graeme Souness were also there.

Robson played for United between 1981 and 1994, and has been an ambassador at the club for many years now, resuming his connection with United after a successful managerial career.
