I'll never forget when I signed for Manchester United, as a record transfer, I knew there was pressure to deliver. Yet Sir Bob was the first to come up to me, shake my hand and say 'Welcome to Manchester United, son. It's a great club, but most importantly, make sure you enjoy yourself.'
He didn't have to do that, the standing of the man, but he knew like anyone else I'd be nervous and he made sure I felt at home immediately.
I found out he did the same with every new signing. It was that touch of class he always had about him.
