Bruno Fernandes plays down talk of winning PFA Player of the Year prize and insists trophies with Manchester United are 'more important' after his superb start to the season

Bruno Fernandes insists he is only focused on helping Manchester United win trophies despite being tipped as a potential winner of the PFA Player of the Year award this term.

The midfielder has been a huge success since arriving at Old Trafford in January for £55m from Sporting Lisbon and is a key part of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side that has emerged as potential title challengers.

Fernandes has 10 Premier League goals this term as United's top scorer while only Tottenham striker Harry Kane has more than his seven assists in the top flight.
