Brian McClair gives his side of Man United's love affair with playing the Stone Roses before games at Old Trafford, accusing Gary Neville of having a 'fertile imagination', insisting HE chose the track, not the pundit, as the club launch band-inspired gea

Brian McClair has claimed he was the one who brought the sound of the Stone Roses to Manchester United, calling out Gary Neville and Old Trafford announcer Alan Keegan following their comments in a club promotional video.

Man United and adidas teamed up with the iconic Mancunian band to release a new collection of training gear and casual wear, along with a video where Neville claimed that in his role as captain, he chose 'This Is The One' to boom around the stadium on home match days.
