Barcelona failed with a £124m move for Manchester United target Antoine Griezmann this summer, according to report in Spain.
The La Liga giants sold star forward Neymar to Paris Saint-Germain this summer for a world record £200m.
It left them on the hunt for a new attacker and they were linked with Liverpool's Philippe Coutinho.
However, according to Mundo Deportivo, Barca also failed with an approach for Griezmann too.
It is said the Nou Camp club bid £124m for the France international but it was rejected by the player and Atletico.
