Barcelona and Brazil legend Ronaldinho makes his footballing return in Gerard Pique's seven-a-side Kings League... but the 42-year-old struggles in a 0-0 draw as he quips: 'I don't want to run, I let the others run!'

Ronaldinho made his return to European football after 12 years on Sunday, as the Barcelona legend turned out for Porcinos FC in the Kings League.

The 42-year-old failed to make much of an impact in the clash, as he was marshalled by former Deportvio and Espanyol defender Alberto Lopo.

He wasn't even called upon to take a penalty after the tournament's first ever goalless draw, as the 2002 World Cup winner quipped at one point 'I don't want to run, I let the others run.'

Founded by Gerard Pique and Twitch streamer Ibai Llanos, the seven-a-side Kings League, which has also featured former Manchester United striker Javier Hernandez, boasts a number of whacky rules and is being played by 12 teams of ex and current pros across Spain.
