Barcelona and Atletico Madrid are 'set to battle for Man United outcast Mason Greenwood this summer'... with the Red Devils 'hoping to sell the striker for £34m' following his loan spell at Getafe

Barcelona and Atletico Madrid are both interested in signing Manchester United outcast Mason Greenwood this summer, according to reports.

Greenwood, 22, is currently on loan at Getafe after United offloaded the striker last summer, just seven months after attempted rape and assault charges against him were dropped.

He has started well at Getafe, scoring five goals and providing five assists in 21 LaLiga appearances, and he could be set to stay in Spain beyond this season.

According to German outlet Sport1 via Mundo Deportivo, Barcelona and Atletico are preparing to battle for his signature in the coming months, and Mail Sport understands the latter club are following him particularly keenly.
