Andrea Agnelli, one of the biggest advocates for the creation of a European Super League [ESL], turned to music artist U2 to react to the latest development in the ESL saga.
Agnelli was one of the lead architects of the breakaway competition when he was president of Juventus.
The Italian resigned from that position in November 2022 in a decision that, at the time, it was said was unrelated to the initial collapse of the Super League.
But, after news on Thursday that the rebel breakaway league was given a boost by a court ruling when the European Court of Justice ruled that UEFA and FIFA were found to have acted against competition law in blocking its creation in 2021, Agnelli took to social media.
