Atletico Madrid 'enter the race to sign Juventus midfielder Adrien Rabiot on a free transfer', with the Spanish giants 'hoping international team-mate Antoine Griezmann can convince him to join'

Atletico Madrid are keen on bringing French midfielder Adrien Rabiot to the club on a free transfer, according to reports.

Rabiot's contract is set to expire at Juventus, and although the Bianconeri are thought to be keen on extending his stay in Turin, although the 28-year-old has admirers across Europe.

In addition to that, the fact that he arrived at the Old Lady on a free from Paris Saint-Germain means that his financial demands will already be quite high, which could price a number of clubs out of a deal.

As such, Atletico are likely to only find competition for his services in the financial superpower that is the Premier League, where they find Manchester United also interested in taking the Frenchman on a free.
