Robin Olsen is set to join Aston Villa for the remainder of the season after he reportedly completed his medical at Villa Park.
The Swedish international goalkeeper is expected to be announced as Villa's fourth signing in the January transfer window as part of Steven Gerrard's club rebuild.
Thirty-two-year-old Olsen, on loan from Roma, has been the target for head coach Gerrard after Villa were left a goalkeeper short when Tom Heaton left for Manchester United last summer.
It is expected that Villa will announce the deal in the next 24 hours now that Olsen has passed his fitness tests, according to The Athletic.
