Arsene Wenger is set to play a role in deciding whether Cristiano Ronaldo is credited with Portugal’s first goal in their 2-0 win over Uruguay last night.
Ronaldo appeared to glance home Bruno Fernandes’s cross in the second half of Monday night’s clash to give Portugal the lead.
But replays have cast doubt over whether the former Manchester United forward got a touch on Fernandes’s ball into the box into the 64th minute.
His cross didn't appear to deviate from its original path as Ronaldo leaped highest inside the Uruguay box to try and head the ball.
