The 21-year-old spent last season enjoying a fabulous loan spell at Sunderland and was involved during our pre-season tour in the USA until a knee injury cut short his progress.
After working hard on his recovery, Amad made his first appearance for the club since the UEFA Champions League tie with Young Boys in December 2021, when coming off the bench in the second half at The City Ground last Saturday.
Amad expressed his joy at being able to return to the pitch at the weekend, and will hope to be involved when United take on Wigan Athletic in our first game of 2024.
