Ajax chief executive Edwin van der Sar admits former club Manchester United ARE interested in signing Donny van de Beek amid reports Red Devils are looking to hijack Real Madrid's move for Dutchman

Ajax chief executive Edwin van der Sar has admitted that Manchester United are interested in signing Donny van de Beek.

Van der Sar, who played for United between 2005 and 2011, said that United and Real Madrid are targeting the talented midfielder.

As reported by NOS, Van der Sar said: ‘It’s clear that clubs like Real Madrid and are Manchester United are showing interest in Donny van de Beek.’
