'After 4pm it is already cold, so the girls don't go out': Wife of Manchester United star Sergio Romero admits their daughters don't even play on £20,000 'theme park' playground which keeper has been ordered to tear down after dispute with neighbours

Sergio Romero's wife has admitted their daughters don't even play on the £20,000 adventure playground which caused a row with neighbours - because it's too cold in England.

The Manchester United goalkeeper and Eliana Guercio installed the play area at their £2.8million Cheshire home last year, but have since been ordered to tear it down because they did not apply for planning permission beforehand.

Disgruntled neighbours have compared the structure - which contains a 14ft-high penthouse den, a 10ft slide and a 12ft-high castle - to a 'theme park'.
