Wilfried Bony regrets not playing under Pep Guardiola at Man City

Wilfried Bony has told footmercato.net he would have liked to have played under Pep Guardiola at Manchester City, but he is delighted to have returned "home" to Swansea City.

Bony left south Wales to join City in a £28 million transfer in January 2015, but struggled to find top form at the Etihad Stadium, scoring just 11 goals in 46 appearances.

A miserable loan spell at Stoke City last season ended with a paltry return of two strikes in 11 games, and his deadline-day switch to Swansea means he never enjoyed the full benefit of Guardiola's coaching.
