Raheem Sterling pulled out of international duty for England after picking up a hamstring injury, but Manchester Evening News believe he’ll be back after the break.
The 25-year-old, who has scored 13 goals and made 21 assists in 58 appearances for England, will miss the Three Lions’ friendly against Wales (October 8), Nations League clash with Belgium (October 11) and Nations League clash with Denmark (October 14).
Sterling has played in every Manchester City game this season, scoring three goals and making two assists, but it’s touch and go whether he’ll feature against Arsenal on October 17.
