'We should do this more': Five-goal Erling Haaland urges Man City to deliver repeat performances of 7-0 rout of RB Leipzig... before revealing he told Pep Guardiola he wanted to score a double hat-trick when he subbed him off

Erling Haaland wants Manchester City to play with Tuesday evening's intensity more often after he broke yet more records by scoring five in a rout of RB Leipzig.

The Norwegian took his tally to 39 goals for the season, overtaking the previous best, set by Tommy Johnson 94 years ago.

He also became the youngest player ever to reach 30 goals in the Champions League.

Haaland - who revealed that he wanted to stay on despite being afforded a rest by Pep Guardiola - believes City should go at teams with this gusto more regularly.
