Manchester City star John Stones says he wants the Premier League to return 'more than anyone', but only when it is completely safe to do so.
The defender has been training at home since March with the nation lockdown down during the coronavirus outbreak, and now many teams are preparing to return to training with their clubs as top flight chiefs plot to restart the campaign.
The Premier League are still in discussion with Government figures on how football could resume while closely following safety protocols. Stones said that while most players are keen to get back on the pitch, it was crucial to put health first.
