'There is a release clause and a deadline': Borussia Dortmund chief Sebastian Kehl insists Manchester City have NOT yet agreed a deal to sign Erling Haaland this summer

Borussia Dortmund chief Sebastian Kehl has denied rumours suggesting Manchester City have agreed a deal to sign Erling Haaland.

Pep Guardiola's side are ready to make the Norwegian the highest-paid player in England and as Sportsmail revealed earlier this week, City remain confident they will win the race for Europe's hottest property, although it is not yet a done deal.

Kehl says no deal has been reached but admitted Haaland does have a release clause and a decision on his future will need to be made 'as soon as possible'.
