Pep Guardiola led the calls for the Premier League to change the rules on a number of substitutions allowed in fixtures this season.
The Manchester City manager was vocal with his displeasure when the league reverted from five changes, implemented during Project Restart, back to three.
Guardiola, whose side have suffered a number of muscle injuries over the last month, reaffirmed that message on Friday as talk swirls of a possible alteration to the rules.

Teams outside of the top six voted against keeping five substitutions for fear of offering an advantage to the bigger clubs with larger squads.
