Jamie Carragher has hailed the impressive strength of the Premier League after Chelsea booked their place in an all-English Champions League final against Manchester City.
The Blues knocked out Real Madrid with relative ease to secure a showdown with Pep Guardiola's men, who had 24 hours earlier downed Paris Saint-Germain at the Etihad.
And Jamie Carragher believes that this season's Champions League has proven why the likes of Florentino Perez are desperate for a Super League.
After joking that it is an 'absolute nightmare' that two of Liverpool's big rivals have made it through, he said: 'I'm delighted in a way, it shows the [strength] of English football right now.
